I spend yesterday night in downtown Chiang Mai, at the Tai Pae gate area, the place to be (haha) on the big celebrations here in Chiang Mai. Me and T had a really nice evening, together with thousands of thais we sent off this ”fire balloons” , rising high in the sky (the balloon is supposed to bring good luck if they rise high, and if it don´t...beware), and there were so many balloons it looked just like beautiful stars, flowing slowly around in the sky. Occasionally one of them where hit buy fireworks, amusing the crowd, but everything was really beautiful, and hopefully this will be a year of peace and enlightenment for all people around the world.
Tomorrow i´m going to the mountains, again. But not the djungle this time. I´m going to Doi Suthep, the mysterious mountain i see from my balcony. I´m gonna stay on the very top of Doi Suthep (its a couple of thousand mtrs), in a buddhist temple, on a 3 day meditation retreat guided buy monks. Read more about it on this excellent web site:

I´m a bit excited about that and what i´ll learn. It´s only white clothes, no contact with the outside world and so on, but it´s only 3 days. But if i like maybe i´ll take the 21 day foundation course next time…
Back in Chiang Mai Friday, hopefully (?).
And what about the studio? I have met some artists who told me how to get a studio, but maybe i´ll get a house instead... Yes, that´s correct. A house. It´s not that expensive actually, and i´m gonna talk with a real estate agent when i´m back. At the moment i´m working in my small apartment as you may know, day and night, and when i think about a house with a couple of rooms…yes haha!
