The monastery

Back in Chiang Mai, and oh yes, living four days in a monastery was certainly something special. The course was tough, no kidding, food only twice a day (6.30 and 11 pm) and most of the day i had to practise meditation. No talking with the other meditators, sleep at 10 and rise at 4… and i hate to get up before 8! But the nuns and monks were big help and i was surprised not feeling any hunger or tiredness, i just kind of walked around in a very special mood, felt some sort of relief and also a very happy feeling, beeing with people who spend their lifes sharing love and peaceful toughts.

The temple (called wat in thai) was amazing, ok there are many many wats in thailand, but Doi Suthep is really beautiful and the view from the top of the mountain... wow!

When i left the temple and meditation centre and walked out on the streets of chiang mai, it felt like i was hit by a tornado, it felt like the souls of all the people i met or was surrounded by went through my mind…

But now i´m back in the city, and i will spend the next days looking for a house/studio. I´m climbing the walls of this apartment! But i continue to paint 24/7. For the moment i´m studying Picasso in his 20s.
